About Us

The Village Playbox community theatre troupe is proudly celebrating its 71st continuous season in Haddon Heights, during which time we have focused on comedies, mysteries, and light dramas. We have staged most of Neil Simon's shows to great success, plus those of Noel Coward, Alan Ayckbourn, and Agatha Christie. And now we look forward to our 71st! Playbox is a long-standing member of the New Jersey Theatre League (NJTL) and the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT). Our auditions are "open", and we encourage newcomers into our productions and the club. Please call 856-547-8284 or 609-567-4016 for more information, or to suggest shows for our consideration.
